If you so wish, a child sponsorship allows you to maintain personal contact, in writing, with your sponsored child and, at least once a year, you will receive a letter from him/her. You may also visit your sponsored child or project. A sponsorship is a great opportunity to learn more about life in foreign cultures and countries.
With a Kindernothilfe sponsorship, you are under no legal obligation whatsoever and can terminate your commitment at any time, with no explanation required.

What documents will I receive?
You will receive a photo of your sponsored child, information about his/her living situation, family, country and the specific project, in which he/she is involved. In addition to your direct personal correspondence, our annual report will keep you up to date on project progress. Our free magazine will also keep you regularly informed about our worldwide work.
How much does a child sponsorship cost?
A child sponsorship will cost you 31 euros per month. For your convenience, you can make your payments by direct debit or set up a standing order.
Since your sponsorship fee is a donation, it can be claimed for tax-relief purposes. How much this will be is calculated by your tax office and depends on your tax situation. You will automatically receive a donation receipt for submission to your tax office at the beginning of each year.
