SISTO in Echternach supports Kindernothilfe Luxembourg

As part of a fundraising campaign, the SISTO company in Echternach supported two Kindernothilfe Luxembourg projects with a total of 1,000 euros.

The funds were allocated to current measures combating Corona as well as a drinking water project in Malawi: new wells with hand pumps are installed, enabling needy children and their families to gain direct access to clean water. This means that children are better protected against infection – thereby not missing school as often – and are less likely to become victims of violence and abuse on their long daily journeys to and from waterholes Through the Corona relief measures, the NGO supports vulnerable children and families by providing hygiene products, food, seeds and breeding animals as a means of bolstering families’ livelihoods during the current Corona pandemic.

“Many people were hit hard by the Corona pandemic. Since our company came through the crisis well, we wanted to do something that would have a lasting impact and do something that would benefit others,” said Philipp Gaudlitz, SISTO Managing Director.

The initiative is part of a fundraising campaign, in which the diaphragm valve manufacturer, SISTO, made donations to three different charity projects, including Kindernothilfe Luxembourg.
