BGL BNP Paribas supports AIDS orphans in Malawi
At the end of the year, BGL BNP Paribas ran a special campaign in support of a Kindernothilfe Luxembourg project: rather than spending money on Christmas presents, the Corporate Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking (Treasury) departments made a joint donation of 10,000 euros.
On 13th February, in the presence of representatives from these departments, Gesa Schulte and Thomas Henkels from Kindernothilfe Luxembourg accepted two cheques and acknowledged the bank’s commitment.
These funds will benefit a Kindernothilfe Luxembourg project in Malawi, which supports 6,000 children and young people, who are exposed to high social risks due to HIV/AIDS and/or whose families live below the poverty line.
