Clean water for healthy children in Malawi

Half of the population has no direct access to clean drinking water, so that many children fall ill. Our project finances the building of new wells to provide drinking water, so that children can grow up healthy and learn better.

Malawi: vocational training gets young people off the streets

Our project in Malawi enables street children, orphans and other disadvantaged young people to receive vocational training. They can thereby escape poverty and build a better future for themselves.

Lebanon: help for Syrian refugee children

The devastating war in Syria has been raging for more than twelve years. 85 percent of Syrian children have been severely traumatised. Our project support for these children includes education and psychosocial care so that they can build a better life for themselves.

The battle against hunger

40 percent of children in Zambia are suffering from nutritional underdevelopment. Our project provides needy mothers with training in climate-adapted agriculture, livestock breeding and honey production. So that their children no longer have to suffer from hunger.

Zambia: protection against abuse and early marriage

Early marriage and unplanned teenage pregnancy are common in Zambia. By means of your project sponsorship you will protect girls against abuse and enable them to complete their schooling.

Emergency relief to combat child hunger in Zambia

In order to protect children affected by poverty from hunger, we launched an emergency relief project. In Choma, we are currently providing school meals to 7,218 children in 10 schools.

Kenya: educating girls to combat poverty

Sponsorship with personal correspondence: in Kenya, many parents cannot afford to educate their daughters. Your sponsorship enables a financially disadvantaged girl to go to school and gives her the chance for a future free of poverty.

Ethiopia: combating child labour & abuse

Sponsorship with personal correspondence: in northern Ethiopia we are combating exploitative child labour, early marriage and female genital mutilation. Your sponsorship facilitates access to education and improves families’ economic situation.

Zambia: combating child labour through education

Sponsorship including child progress report: as a result of the bitter poverty in Zambia, many children are forced to go out and work. As a sponsor, you will protect a child against exploitative child labour and enable your sponsored child to receive an education.

Uganda: combating violence and child neglect

Sponsorship with personal correspondence: as a result of poverty, many children aged between five and twelve are exploited in the sand pits and sugar plantations. By becoming a child sponsor, you will enable these children to receive an education and have a better future
